1. Launch the OpenOffice.org Word Processor.
2. Left-click the Tools menu.
3. Left-click Options.
4. Left-click Memory on the left side of the window.
1. Change Number of steps to 20 or 30.
2. Change Use for OpenOffice.org to 128.
3. Change Memory per object to 20.0.
5. Left-click Java on the left side of the window.
• Uncheck the box next to Use a Java runtime environment.
6. Click the OK button.
7. Close OpenOffice.org Word Processor.
8. Restart OpenOffice.org Word Processor to use the new settings.
