If you’d like to try a strange little man page browser, try xman:

  1. Type this command in a terminal window to export the path to your man pages:
  2. export MANPATH=/usr/share/man/en:/usr/share/man:/usr/X11R6/man
    • Explanation: This will temporarily add the paths listed above to the MANPATH environment variable so that xman can find your man pages. The export will be cleared when you close the terminal window.

  3. Then type this command to run xman:
  4. xman -notopbox -bothshown &

Obligatory Happy Ending

And they all lived happily ever after. The end.
