Associate t2t files with Kate and the txt2tags GUI program in Konqueror

- Open Konqueror.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Choose Configure Konqueror…
- Choose File Associations
- Choose text
- Choose t2t
- Left-click the Add… button under the Application Preference Order section.
- Browse to /usr/bin/txt2tags
- Left-click the OK button.
- Left-click the Edit… button.
- Left-click the Application tab.
- Add a space and –gui to the end of the command.
- Left-click the OK button.
- Left-click the Add… button under the Application Preference Order section.
- Browse to /usr/bin/kate
- Left-click the OK button.
- Left-click the Move Up button.
- Move Kate above the txt2tags entry.
- Left-click the Apply button.
- Left-click the OK button.
Now when you double-click t2t files in Konqueror, they’ll open in Kate. When you right-click them, you’ll find Kate and the txt2tags GUI in the Open with submenu.
