Adept is used for package management in KDE.

NAME	DESCRIPTION	COMMAND
Adept Notifier	Update notification program that shows up in the tray.	adept_notifier

Add/Remove Programs	The most popular programs gathered together in one place.	adept_installer

Restore Adept Notifier

If you ever accidentally disable your Adept Notifier in the Kicker panel, you can restore it by editing your adept_notifierrc file:

1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type this command:

~/.kde/share/config/adept_notifierrc

3. Change false to true.
