Choose default browser in Kubuntu

Use the GUI
- Open the Kmenu.
- Choose Run Command…
- Type kcontrol into the text box.
- Left-click on KDE Components in the left panel.
- Left-click on Default Applications in the left panel.
- Left-click the in the following browser: radio button in the right pane.
- Use the … button to choose the default browser from among your applications.
- Left-click the Apply button on the bottom right corner of the window.
- Close the KDE Control Center.
Use the console
- Type this command in a terminal window:
- Choose a browser.
sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser
Obligatory Happy Ending
And they all lived happily ever after. The end.

Hey, I ran that command to make Swiftfox default. Now when I hit the key combination to open the browser, Swiftfox opens showing my home directory with all the files.
