Make Konqueror like Explorer

1. Change the Konqueror shortcut from:

kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing

to:

kfmclient openProfile filemanagement

2. Set your view to match this:

Konqueror --> View Mode --> Detailed list view

And this:

Konqueror --> View --> Show Navigation Panel

3. Left-click the Root Folder icon on the far left side of the screen (second from the bottom of all the icons).
4. Save your new configuration:

Konqueror --> Settings --> Save View Profile "File Management"...

Now you’ll be as close to what the file manager in Windows was like as possible.
