Multiple Desktops

If you want to use multiple desktops in KDE and not have the minimized windows from the other desktops showing in the currently open desktop’s panel:

  1. Right-click on the panel.
  2. Choose Configure Panel… from the menu.
  3. Left-click on Taskbar in the left pane.
  4. Uncheck Show windows from all desktops.

To configure how the panel shortcut looks:

  1. Right-click the panel applet.
  2. Choose Pager Options.
  3. Choose Background.
