Multiple Desktops

If you want to use multiple desktops in KDE and not have the minimized windows from the other desktops showing in the currently open desktop’s panel:
- Right-click on the panel.
- Choose Configure Panel… from the menu.
- Left-click on Taskbar in the left pane.
- Uncheck Show windows from all desktops.
To configure how the panel shortcut looks:
- Right-click the panel applet.
- Choose Pager Options.
- Choose Background.
